Register of RAE Apprentices 1910 to 1992

Many ex-apprentices will be unaware of the existence of a register of all RAE Apprentices dating from the very beginning of the scheme in 1910 up to the present day 1992 when the last apprentices commenced training at the RAE. This is a full and fascinating record of all participants in the scheme over a period of 82 years and, for example, shows a certain AJA Armstrong staring his apprenticeship in 1913.

Through the efforts of the Hon Sec Bruce Legg and through the medium of the WEB-Site this important register has been transcribed and is now available to all via the active file link below.

Access to this file requires installation of Adobe Acrobat V4.0 or later. Most modern computers will already have this application installed but otherwise it is available as a free of charge download from www.adobe.com or on many of the free discs which accompany most PC magazines.
